Streaming audio & podcast advertising

Your customers are listening. Give them something worth hearing.

Reach listeners through streaming music, internet radio, and podcasts with a message that earns their attention.

People listen in the car, at work, at home, and while they tackle the rest of the day. That's an opportunity—but targeting alone can't make a message matter.

Talk about audio advertising

More audience options, same basic rule

Reach people where they're listening.

Streaming audio may offer geographic and audience-targeting options, depending on the platform and available inventory. The message still has to give people a reason to care.

01

Traditional radio

Broad local reach and repeated exposure to a consistent audience.

02

Streaming audio

Digital listening platforms with additional targeting possibilities.

03

Podcasts

Engaged listeners around particular programs, topics, and interests when inventory fits.

How streaming audio can fit

An add-on—or a way to get started.

I usually see streaming audio fit in one of two ways. If you're already advertising on radio and want to extend your audio presence, it can be a useful add-on. Or, if a full traditional radio schedule doesn't fit the budget, streaming can be a way to start reaching audio listeners with a smaller media spend.

Audio doesn't need a picture

A conversation. A story. A little humor.

You don't need another commercial that starts by telling everyone how wonderful the business is. You need something people will pay attention to, trust, or remember.

“You still need to give people a reason to remember you.”— The same rule applies on radio, streaming audio, and podcasts.

The newest option isn't always the right option

Let's see where audio fits.

We'll talk about your customers, market, goals, and budget—then decide whether streaming audio, radio, a combination, or neither makes sense.
